We're headed towards another tie here, let me take a look at the previous votes...

Looks like Celtic Frost is headed out next. Could change if another vote comes in though.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

My case for Obscura:
It's an album that is 100% metal, but manages to take the genre to new, avantgardistic heights.
The other albums don't really come from a metal background, or achieve being avantgarde by mixing styles and genres, or both.

I try not to advertise the vote count during a round. Just in case it influences peoples voting.

Celtic Frost - Into the Pandemonium
maudlin of the Well - Bath
Fantômas - The Director's Cut
Sigh - Imaginary Sonicscape

It was a little painful putting the Fantômas album on there, but it would have be tougher if it was their first one. The other three were easy though.

Well, I've been tired and lazy. Anyway, Celtic Frost lose a three-way tie by past votes, and onto the next round...

7. maudlin of the Well - Bath
6. Fantômas - The Director's Cut
5. Naked City - Torture Garden
4. Sigh - Imaginary Sonicscape
3. Gorguts - Obscura
2. Sunn O))) - Black One
1. Zu - Carboniferous

Vote 3 off. Round ends September 2.
