You don't need that many sub genres of metal. With music in general you need 2 at the most. Stuff you like and stuff you don't. Anyone who is sitting around deciding what genre the music their listening to is should just stop what they're doing and assess where they are as people

See the little arrow pointing to the left at the top of your browser? Why don't you give that a press.

Talk about rude! Don't come in to a well-established thread that has been going for months, and enjoyed by the community, and clutching your fifteen posts start telling people what they should be doing. Great way to make yourself popular. If you don't like the concept, don't participate.

SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

I think for the first time while on this thread, I actually enjoyed every single one of the albums a whole lot. I'll listen to one, and think, "Okay, that has to be high on the list," and then listen to the other albums, and be like, nope, they're all better. It's really cool.

It's kind of hard for me to rate them, as so many of them are proggy, and while I haven't really disliked any of the albums, it's kind of hard to put one proggy album over another.

Front-runners for me are definitely Bathory, Primordial, and Turisas. The others are good, but I'm pulling for any one of those three, especially Bathory. I'll be pissed if their isn't a Bathory album in the finals.
