SUGGEST ME AN ALBUM - I'm probably not going to listen to it but I will if you bother me enough.

Symphonic Metal

1. Therion - Theli
2. Nightwish - Wishmaster
3. Septicflesh - Communion
4. Arcturus - La masquerade infernale
5. The Monolith Deathcult - Trivmvirate
6. Rhapsody - Symphony of Enchanted Lands

Ideas? Am I going to have to reduce myself to Dimmu Borgir?
I hope so since For All Tid is amazing. No Rotting Christ on here doesn't seem right.

So we're gonna pretend that Dimmu actually has a good album? We're actually going there?

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Post metal is what got me back into metal after years of having abandoned the genre because it had become a childish part of my past. So I love most of these bands, in a way more than any of the other bands in any of the other contests. Neurosis should win this even though I like Isis more. I'd love it if Old Man Gloom won. And I really like The Ocean and Cult of Luna (particularly love this band even though they started out basically aping Isis).

Voting off in order of my favorite to least:
The Ocean
Pelican
Inter Arma
Rosetta

Why should Neurosis win if you like Isis more?

Another double outage this time, Rosetta and Inter Arma are out.

6. Cult of Luna - Somewhere Along the Highway
5. Old Man Gloom - Seminar III: Zozobra
4. Neurosis - Through Silver In Blood
3. The Ocean - Precambrian
2. Isis - Panopticon
1. Pelican - The Fire In Our Throats Will Beckon the Thaw

Vote 3 off. Vote ends April 14.
