I want to vote off all of the ones that I have heard though. Actually, now that I think about it, I don't mind TBDM that much.

No love for Despised Icon? I'm even coming around to The Red Chord.

Melodic Metalcore

1. Killswitch Engage - Alive or Just Breathing
2. Unearth - The Oncoming Storm
3. Trivium - Shogun
4. Parkway Drive - Killing with a Smile
5. All That Remains - The Fall of Ideals

Deathcore

1. The Red Chord - Fused Together in Revolving Doors
2. Despised Icon - The Ills of Modern Man
3. The Black Dahlia Murder - Nocturnal
4. Suicide Silence - The Cleansing
5. Bring Me the Horizon - Suicide Season

Symphonic Metal

1. Therion - Theli
2. Nightwish - Wishmaster
3. Septicflesh - Communion
4. Arcturus - La masquerade infernale
5. The Monolith Deathcult - Trivmvirate
6. Rhapsody - Symphony of Enchanted Lands
7. Emperor - Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk
8. Dimmu Borgir - Stormblast
9. Sigh - Hangman's Hymn
10. Diablo Swing Orchestra - The Butcher's Ballroom

Edit: Oh, and I also finished the Wild Card list.

Wild Card

1. Danzig - Danzig III
2. Type O Negative - Bloody Kisses
3. Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle
4. Burn the Priest - Burn the Priest
5. Anaal Nathrakh - The Codex Necro
6. Venom - Black Metal
7. Gridlink - Longhena
8. Akercocke - The Antichrist
9. Deafhaven - Sunbather
10. Lykathea Aflame - Elvenfris
I just happen to see this by happenchance, the last two metal battles have been such a snooze fest I lost interest in the thread.

I shed no tear for All that Remains, I'm not to much into arty prog stuff like Protest the Hero either, but I imagine there are probably a lot of fans of that band on this forum, and they're Canadian, so...

Since your combining melodic/death core, you might want to look at Bleeding Through's Declaration album, and Whitechapel got left out..not that I really care.

I would suggest Scream, Aim, Fire, but I know your hatred for Valentine's runs deep.

Symphonic metal: not familiar with Stormblast isn't Darkness Enthroned Triumphant Dimmur's signature album? and should I dare suggest....Cradle of Filth's Dusk and Her Embrace.
