Depends on just how many I can come up with. They'd really have to be worthy of inclusion, as I don't want any filler bands. Mr. Bungle might be a good call? Like a bitch I still have yet to listen to a single Mr. Bungle song, but from everything you nerds say they don't sound like they fit in much of anywhere.

Off the top of my head...

1. Bathory - Hammerheart
2. Danzig - Danzig III
3. Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle
4. Venom - Black Metal (I could have put them in trad or black metal, but they're too far from black metal to comfortably fit, and I just didn't think of putting them in trad till it was too late)

Zu - Carboniferous
Psychofagist - Songs of Faint and Distortion

Would be two worthy inclusions.

If we're going Psychofagist, I think Il Secondo Tragico is the better album.

Will have to check them out. Not looking to just add rejects from other battles, but since some bands did get left out possibly to make way for more historically relevant bands then I can definitely consider some refugees. I'm gonna have to be really discriminating though. It would be easy to let the list get out of hand.

You should make this your first Mr. Bungle song, you'd like it

Just listening to Igorrr for the first time, and they seem like a good choice. Too many established groups in avant garde to really be bumping any for such a new group, so wild card might be a good fit.

Another reason a wild card list might be a good idea is that some battles might not generate enough interest, and have to get canned before they get finished, and I can take one or two deserving bands and putting them there.

Igorrr's a difficult one, but it's definitely got enough metal elements to fit in the wild card category even if I don't really consider him metal.

EDIT: Go with that Pschofagist album Janzsoon was talking about, it is better. It's got the horn player from Zu as well so +5 awesome points.

First, rough version of the wild card list. Will obviously add to it in the future. Might throw on some Author and Punisher, just cause.

Wild Card

1. Bathory - Hammerheart
2. Danzig - Danzig III
3. Mr. Bungle - Mr. Bungle
4. The Cult - Sonic Temple
5. Igorrr - Nostril
6. Venom - Black Metal

Also made some hella changes to the industrial metal list.

Industrial Metal

1. Godflesh - Streetcleaner
2. Ministry - Psalm 69: The Way to Succeed and the Way to Suck Eggs
3. Nailbomb - Point Blank
4. Strapping Young Lad - City
5. Fear Factory - Demanufacture
6. Killing Joke - Killing Joke (2nd S/T, from 2003)
7. Pitchshifter - Industrial
8. Samael - Passage
9. Dødheimsgard - 666 International
10. Front Line Assembly - Millenium

Igorrr seems like a weird choice for a metal list since he's not metal. Maybe one of his Whourkr albums instead?
