Plenty of deathcore albums that sound like bad beatdown hardcore combined with bad brutal death metal, but Through the Eyes of the Dead's Malice is some sweet deathcore that sounds like a deathcore band actually recording a good death metal album.

Sorry to Bloodlet, Entheogen is still a super rad album and will at least remain my number two for metalcore after being the top for so long, but after due consideration and more and more repeated listening, this in my opinion is the greatest metalcore album of all time.



It's just so outrageously heavy and gnar. And at the same time it's still very distinct, complex, and original (one of my favorite things about Entheogen). This has a pretty great deal of shredding rawness from every angle of the music. You also have to give mad props for their 15 minute metalcore opus smack-dab in the middle of this bitch, ain't nothin like it. It reminds me of post metal like Neurosis, but gone further the core route. It's technical/mathy, dissonant, noisy, atmospheric, heavy as a planet, destructive and all around 100% sick.

If anyone knows similar stuff I ****ing need it this instant.

You people don't seem to appreciate simple metalcore violence enough. I love some post-hardcore creativity in my metalcore, but the other half of the time I just want to thrash out. Here's some good **** for you if you're tired of thinking about ****...
