they've lightened up so much tho, back in the day, they were what emo hardcore used to be. my best friend also on this site hates them but raised her eye brows in suprise and approval at an older song. can't remember which one. she being a metal head and only liking bullet for my valentine in the screamo catagory.

Liar. Which one did I like? When is comes to Screamo, the softer the better. I dont even like hardcore.

They seem screamo to me. And honestly, I really dont care who thinks what is emo. If I want to call a band emo, I'll call them ****ing emo. I just dont want to hear the ****ing arguements that you all have over what is "emo" enough to be called "emo". Whatever. I don't even like it and you dragged me in.

I'm just so tired of the "emo wars." Underoath started out pretty emo. Hardcore guitar and deep, love-lost lyrics, what more do you guys want?

yeah their newest cd i think it's called the changing of times, thats really progressive screamo. like listen to "alone in december" and "the sun sleeps"
