Probably going to get a lot of **** for this, but The Goo Goo Dolls. Their big break came in 1995 with A Boy Named Goo. I liked Superstar Car Wash and Hold Me Up. Although I gotta say their cover of BOC's (Don't Fear) The Reaper is awesome.

That's cause fear the reaper is an awesome song. As long as you play it right it can make any band seem talented.. except the Goo Goo dolls that is, When i think of the Goo Goo dolls i think about Iris and then i think about blowing my brains out.
