Honestly, anything from the 70s or 80s besides Turbo you can't really go wrong with.

Turbo was definitely weaker than the Ram it Down album, both albums should have initially been released as a double album under the title "Twin Turbos".
Amazingly Metal-Rules.com placed "Turbo" as the 39th greatest glam metal album ever recorded, this doesn`t say much for the competition

Are you kidding?

Ram It Down was fucking shite, at least Turbo had some decent singles on it.

Hey! "Ram It Down" and the cover of "Johnny B. Good" kicked ass! Of course those are the only songs I've heard off that album...

Well, obviously they have long run out of lyrical ideas.

That`s why "Painkiller" was seen as a rebirth.

That's also what I was referring to. "Nightcrawler"? Awesome song. Goofy lyrics.

These groups certainly do take a strange path.....

Judas Priest were one of the key components behind the thrash metal movement, but by the mid 80`s were peddling a sound that was mostly appealing to the fans of hair metal. Then came the shift back to the agressive end of the market with songs like "Painkiller" and "Nightcrawler" and they got their self respect back again!
