Awww man. Hung himself after a show? Frown, is it true he closed with that song?

Another one that hurts a lot.

Gonna go listen to Badmotorfinger.

I saw that in a headline. Turns out that they closed with Slaves and Bulldozers with lyrics from "In My Time of Dying."

Quote:
According to the setlist, which was posted online by fans, the final song of the performance was the 1991 classic Slaves And Bulldozers.

But the live version the band had taken to performing midway through contains a refrain from the death fixated gospel song In My Time Of Dying, which was famously covered by Led Zeppelin.

The songs lyrics contain the phrase: "In my time of dying, I want nobody to mourn. All I want for you to do is take my body home. Well, well, well, so I can die easy."

Jebus. I'll never be able to listen to that song the same way again.

I think I'm going to halt the current review for my journal and do all the Soundgarden albums. Haven't listened to any of them recently other than the obvious ones.

Soundgarden has to be listened to as loudly as your speakers can handle before bottoming out.

Currently listening to them all as well. I'll post them in my log so as not to spoil your reviews. I look forward to seeing your thoughts though.

Don't get too excited. It'll just be the writings of a fanboy jerking off.
