Why is Jerusalem on there instead of Dopesmoker? Jerusalem is the one that is all chopped up.

Oh ****, no Burzum? But that list was pretty hipster friendly, so Burzum should have been a shoe in. No Blut Aus Nord either. **** Rolling Stone.

I think nobody told them that it got rereleased in full.

I have such a weird relationship with that album. I love some of the riffs like a fat kid loves cake, I think the title track is perfect thrash along with "Merciless Death", want to be totally down with it, and can kind of jam out to the album in general, but the production has just never grown on me. I just want the riffs to be a little clearer. That's all I ****ing want in the world.

Master of Reality is the best Sabbath album imo. I'd have picked that before the other two.

British Steel is great but that's not JP's best album either imo.

lol at me posting in a metal thread.

And why the **** isn't Painkiller on that list? It might be kinda overrated, but it's also the most savage trad metal album ever. And if they're copping their list from RYM or whatever then why didn't they include Sad Wings of Destiny? Isn't that one of the old school Priest albums everyone creams over?

I'm not a metal guy and even I can see this is all a bit silly.

It's honestly not the worst list ever. It's just so safe that it's irrelevant, and those little nuggets of bull**** sprinkled throughout just make it a decent Rolling Stone list. But it's fun to **** on Rolling Stone.
