I like Slipknot and really happy with their first albums but Vol:3 album hasn't really done it for me, hopefully just one of those albums and not what happens to ever great band they start to deteriorate.
Corey has an amazing voice, that's one mighty powerful voice he has! |

Slipknot, a little appreciation?
My hats off to these nine whacked out crazy M'F'ers.... Slipknot is about the best metal band there is... and noone can really say otherwise can they? I mean look at them, they play sold out arenas... and who opens for them? Only shadows fall and lamb of god? hahaha and you guys look at all these hardcore and metal bands as anything special and think good music can only come from the underground... Slipknot are the heaviest hardest-hitting bunch of maniacs to hit the stage in quite a while... if ever... so before you keep running your stupid mouths about terrible music like earth crisis, gorilla biscuits, minor threat, vegan reich, and all the other lame crap that you all listen to... dead to fall ewwww listen to some REAL music... which would end with the all powerful head smashing slipknot... they are the epitomy of musicianship in the metal world.... take the most hated and feared of all that sprung from jazzy, blues groove music.... and then add to it satanic stage performances and driving melodies that can bring it home, and you've got slipknot... these guys turned metal around... and they hate everyone of you. They are HARDCORE... in the REAL sense... not the labelistic bs you guys try and make it or define it as... hardcore is revolutionary... something you all will never be....hardcore is a symbol... a nothing to something... and underdog symbol, not a stupid flag you wave around like you do with your little pricks, peeing in the wind.... slipknot is hardcore... why? because theyll punch your mom in the head and then eat your face.... yep...

Your posts get worse and worse. Slipknot is a terrible Nu-metal band with a gimick that sells well to 13 years olds and metal head jocks. Its pretty obvious by posting this you have no idea what hardcore music is and are completely out of tune with the scene. Tell me, what does playing arena rock have to do with being hardcore? There music is so idiotic, I cant see how anyone could bear it. Nothing you even write makes sense, hardcore is a symbol? What is that suppose to mean? I find it so hard to beilive that your ignorant enough to call Minor Threat stupid crap and talk about how brilliant slipknot are. Ian Mckay had established dischord records by the time he was 17, slipknot is a bunch of burned out 30 year olds slamming on beer kegs and talking about the devil. Ugh, what a stupid thread.

O yea, and slipknot is not the best metal band, Id rather listen to asschapel 100 times tahn slipknot once. And I don't have to pay $100 and go to an arena to see them. I could pay $3 go to a basement and acctually talk to them.
