Yes, but they are nostalgic acts, playing smaller places and releasing bad music.

Crue, WASP, Warrant, etc, that stuff was cheesy as hell. They were done when the good bands got popular (Radiohead, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, etc).

I don't know why you're comparing hair metal bands with non-hair metal bands. It was just a change in mainstream musical popularity that they died out. Also Radiohead came after the grunge bands that you've mentioned.
