I don't know that I'd call the wall a rock opera. its more of a concept album, but it could easily be considered a rock opera.
Some other good Concept albums/Rock Operas:
Jesus Christ Superstar
Deltron 3030
Joe's Garage - Frank Zappa
* I don't know phishfood. Would you classify Joe's Garage as a rock opera? Cuz' if The Wall qualifies then Joe's garage definitely does too
Hemisperes, 2112, A Farewell to Kings - Rush
Only Built for Cuban Links - Raekwon
Rocky Horror Picture Show

A mate dragged me off to The Rocky Horror Show at a local theatre once...never even heard of it at the time and had no idea what to expect.
We must have been the only people not dressed as any of the characters, so we felt right out of place to begin with...good fun though.

Remember getting soaked to the skin about the time we were wondering what all the umbrellas were for.

I wanted to tear my teeth out. I didn't know what I wanted to do. And I want to remember it. I never want to forget it. I never want to forget. And then I realized... like I was shot... like I was shot with a diamond... a diamond bullet right through my forehead. And I thought: My God... the genius of that.
