Default The 100 Best Metal Albums - Ever!

This thread will be my review of what are generally accepted as the 100 best metal albums of all time. You can't please everyone, and some will disagree with choices, but bear in mind they're not mine. I know some metal, more than I did before I came here for sure, but I still wouldn't have the credentials to compile such a list, so after some to-ing and fro-ing (mostly to-ing) and some help from His Batness I've settled on this one, which I'll be using.

Junkee

Next up:

98.

Deicide - Deicide (1990)

I like the Junkee list for not being traditional and there aren't any objective answers for a top 100 but I imagine it's not what you're looking for, you can toss the Kerrang and Metal Hammer lists in the trash, the Digital Dream Door and Metal Rules lists are perfectly acceptable traditional lists but stodgy and boomer as hell (perfect for you).

I'd go with the Metal Storm list cause it's got nice mix of tradition and newer albums even if a few of their choices are a bit dodgy for my personal taste.

I mean: https://rateyourmusic.com/charts/top...-time/g:metal/, rym is certainly not the best rating as the weighting heavily favours more popular albums, but probably the best starting list for a more normie list.

It's better than a list that's like how many Van Halen albums can we put in before having to acknowledge that death metal unfortunately exists.
