Also, I would like to point out that the vocalist, Stone Temple Pilots guy, yeah, well he isn't that great. The band all together is pretty mediocre.
What the hell has age gotta do with guitaring. Thats like saying if Hendrix had lived to old age he should've hung up his guitar. Have we ever heard of Clapton, Beck, Page. Not to mention Ronnie Wood and Keef. Their both getting on but they still jam. And yeah Slash hasnt done anything great with his Les Paul for a while. But I bet he could still play November Rain and Sweet Child O' Mine on request. So his age has nothing to do with it.

i love Velvet Revolver. some guy at school made fun of them and said they sucked (now see i dont give a rats ass if you dont like a band i like, but i hate when people say a band i like sucks, cause thats just saying i have no taste in music.) so i kicked him and screamed... wooooo rock on VR

Yep love 'em. They are Guns n' Roses without the s**t i.e. Axl Rose and the cool singer from Stone Temple Pilots.

that's because people were expecting a supergroup instead of a old drug addict band with half the talent and drive of GNR.

VR are terrible, and their songs suck. I expected much more from this band. Axls new stuff is much better.
