A prog forum would be wonderful, prog is by far my favorite genre. Pink Floyd, Dream Theater, Yes, King Crimson, Opeth, Tool, The Moody Blues, Rush. These guys and many others need their own area for discussion.

Are Gorillaz Prog. They seem like it.

I apologize in advance if somebody has already suggested this idea, but I have no intention of reading through 12 pages of posts to find out if they did.

Since only 13 people have voted for a separate prog forum, why not just make a prog sub-forum under "Rock & Metal"?

ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, nah.

They are progressive in a way, but being progressive isnt always prog, Gorillaz are a bit too oriented with pop to really be prog.

Plus if someone asked Damon Albarn if Gorillaz were prog, he would probably deny it all the way.

Because a few people who haven't posted in this thread previously, wanted to express their support for a prog forum.

I agree with you that we probably aren't going to get a separate prog forum. However, I think a prog sub-forum under "Rock & Metal" might be something that the admins might consider.

Pftt, unbeliever.

My heavy promotion for a prog forum hasnt even begun yet.

I will soon be working on a progressive rock history page, as a contrebution for Merakabas rock history project.

Hopefuly if its a hit, people will consider it.

Hell, thats all im asking for, is that too much?...It dosent have to be a forum of its own, a sub-forum would do just fine.
