im surprised Matt Bellamy of Muse hasnt been mentioned. he is one of the best guitar players around at the moment and his voice is so unique. he rights some mean lyrics too.

Kurt Cobain, Zack De La Rocha, I always thought Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots had a strong voice.
