I do like some of the Beatles music, but for me I feel it gets a bit boring after half hour or so. I would really like to be a big fan, I have tried, but they are just not for me sadly.

I'm going to avoid voting on that poll for fear that I may have done so on my previous account, but my favorite was always Paul. As for albums, Sgt. Pepper's was the first Beatles album I heard, and it remains my number 1 today.

My favorite Beatle is whoever responsible for the more experimental side... Some say it's John, others say that actually it was Paul. Whichever it really is is be my favorite...

IMHO, The Beatles are the only band that was the 'best' band and most popular band at the same time.

Best is totally subjective but they check enough boxes for me. From all four members contributing songwriting and vocals to ushering in different genres plus studio techniques that were groundbreaking. Those things are hard to argue even if you don't like them.

I think The White Album is the greatest album of all time. I still listen to it several times a year.

My favorite Beatles album too, by far. I wonder what my second favorite is. Could be Magical Mystery Tour after all.

My 2nd and 3rd could flip flop between Abbey Road and Rubber Soul...Revolver would probably be 4th.

Favorite album opener?

I guess Come Together is hard to compete with.

I googled up best openers by The Beatles, I got this.

"I Saw Her Standing There" from Please Please Me, "A Hard Day's Night" from the album of the same name, "Drive My Car" from Rubber Soul, "Taxman" from Revolver, "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" from Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, "Back in the U.S.S.R." from The Beatles (also known as the White Album), and "Come Together" from Abbey Road

A Hard Day's Night is pretty stout...as are all the ones listed!

Can't believe it omitted this classic opener, which I'm tempted to say is my favorite of all.

I'm not sure how it impacts our conversation but the early US and UK albums had different tracks or running order.

Help is such a simple statement of love. A timeless them as evidenced by Something Else and Teenage Kicks!
