Well what is it that you like about Abbey Road? I find Sgt. Pepper to be even more creative, but you probably hate that album for some reason or another.

Hmmmm... I really don't see how those songs have dated... I mean seriously, the creativity of those songs is amazing. From "She's Leaving Home" to "Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds" to "Within You Without You," that album has it all. The songs are so creative and fresh that it sounds like it could have been released yesterday.

Oh come on Within You Without You is a masterpiece, Day In A Life is brilliant, She's Leaving Home is probably my favorite McCartney ballad.

And saying their songs are too twee is a little dim. Great music can be in any type of form even if you don't like the style.

If you dislike pop that's fine, but to specifically hate the Beatles when they are just a type of genre you don't like is silly. Do you the Kinks, Beach Boys, Police, ELO, Moody Blues?

Ok fine. But there is no problem with nursery rhyme sounding songs as long as you make it interesting.

Welcome to the reason this thread was started.
Beatles fans who seem to have trouble understanding that
*Shock Horror*

Somebody might actually prefer the Stones over them.

No. I was angry that he basically said all of the Beatles discography was crap. The Stones are better if you prefer more hard rock.
