That's how the Folk Revivalist felt during the late 50's early 60's, in a way that's how they found Mississippi John Hurt still living (circa early 60's) around Avalon Mississippi, while at that time the rest of the country thought he passed away
there was this one guy who wished he was born in the 10's and set out on a mission to find him and he did! 20's Country Blues - ya can't knock it.
