No order, but Victim of Love is definitely my favourite.

BUMP!

Couldn't find a better thread, so I'll post it here:
The Eagles are now on Spotify.

That was my fathers favorite band..... so they're sentimental to me.
I like most of what they did.

Take it easy is a great song.

Like a number of bands from the era, I knew the solo artists before I knew the bands they were in. I can say that I prefer Don Henley's solo stuff. I think the first Eagles related song I heard was Glen Frey's Heat is on.

That's the one with the line, "Don't let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy" isn't it? Yep, a great track. I like "Desperado", especially after having heard the Judy Collins version of it, which I would rec. to anyone who wants to wallow in a reflective mood.

I once lived in a shared apartment where by common consent The Eagles were really played to death, so I never listen to them these days, good though they are.

Thanks, mc! You've given me the perfect excuse to put up this gem from Don Henley:-

I don't know why, but this phrase gets me every time: "...to Six Flags over Jesus"

Lol, I have never seen that clip. By the way, can we give kudos to Don's 70s 'fro? That guy had a great 'do back in the day.

I can relate to the play it to death bit. In university, I stayed in residence. The guy in the room across the hall from me played Live's Throwing Copper twice a day for what had to have been a semester.
