That's the point I was driving at, is the penatonic blues, there is only so much an individual can do. It's not theft, it's re-invention.

I didn't say he was the only one who did it, he's certainly not. But when it comes to Zeppelins music as a whole, they were far from the most original band of their era.

John bonham is the only thing that makes Zeppelins version of "whole lotta love" better than the small faces. Robert plants voice was a robbery. If you can't admit how much he sings like Steve Marriott in that song then you're delusional. Pages riff isn't all that original. It doesn't sound all that different from the baseline in the small faces song, just sped up and altered a little.

Robert Plant robbed Steve Marriott's voice??? That's a tad ridiculous to me. I think at this point it's safe to say you're just not a Led Zeppelin fan, and that's okay.

He may not be much of a fan, but there's a difference between fact and biased fanboy opinions.

Listen to the small faces song "you need love" and tell me that Robert plant doesn't sing nearly exactly like that. You're crazy if you say otherwise. I'm not a huge fanboy but I do like zepp.

Your wrong. Plant stole his vocal chords. He actually surgically put them into his own throat.

And who else other than Dr. Rezz could have performed that procedure?
