I agree, neat cover Moss. And you got some skills on that axe!

I dig me some Zeppelin now and then, always have liked their music and grew up listening to their music on vinyl records.

Cool thing with that Zep cover vid is that it's the middle of the day and a pretty small crowd, yet Zep still gets the peeps rocking and even a couple of MILFs? up on the dance floor shaking what God gave em.

I usually give people that say Zep are crap a really funny, and puzzled look.

It's so true. You can have a lackluster early afternoon crowd and the minute you bust in to Zeppelin people perk up. We also do Bron yr Aur stomp, what is and what should never be and a few others on occasion. People don't expect you to do many of them acoustically but great songs hold up just fine when you go all acoustica with them.

There's this belief that if a song can't hold up when it is stripped down like that, then it wasn't a good song to begin with. I'm not sure if that holds on merit or truth. But I can see why it is said, too.

Awesome. My esteem for Plant grows every day. I completely respect him not wanting to get Zep back together for the big pay off.

I personally don't like Led Zeppelin. Everyone gushes about how "influential" they were, when in reality they were just another post garage rock prog band dabbling in the new-fangled "heavy metal" thing. They got caught stealing a riff from Muddy Waters, and Jimmy Page kidnapped and raped a minor, so... pretty messed up. Honestly, even T-rex were more influential in the overall scheme of things than Led Zeppelin.
