Radiohead's Album-Closers

Radiohead is known for ending albums with powerful, emotional songs. Your favorite? My vote goes to Street Spirit (Fade Out), although every single one of them ranks among Radiohead's strongest.

I'd recommend Disturbed. For a band that mainstream, they're actually quite good, and I'm thinking they might fit your tastes. Nothing too complicated, but very catchy and melodic metal.

He's probably one of the most ridiculous lyricists of all time, but he's a great singer. Holy Diver, Heaven and Hell, Long Live Rock 'n Roll, Rainbow Rising... all full of straight-up excellent metal.
