I just listened to your "Unknown" song. You realize your vocalist has a pitchy, off-key voice and your music builds up in a predictable fashion to an inevitable let down... right?

She smokes but is quitting. I like that kind of voice and there are people who like it too. The day we recorded that song was the first time she actually heard it and it was recorded in my livingroom.

I don't have real instruments. All of the instruments that you heard in the song are computer generated

In conclusion, a lot of people are tone deaf with bad taste.
This band proves what I said to my friend ages ago when we were talking about the liberation of the internet when it comes to creativity. Without the record labels there is absolutely no quality control whatsoever and anytime that happens loads of s**tty poetry and music will get out there into the real world when it doesnt actually deserve to get beyond the four track recorders and note books people have in their bedrooms.

The one thing you know about any record that gets released is that it impressed somebody somewhere enough to actually put hard cash behind it.

Dark Circle if you actually want comments on a song then post it, and when people comment don't slap it back in their face with "no we wanna sell to mtv which is why we write like this" its making posting them pointless.

Hopefully we can avoid this in the future, i'm closing both threads.
