perfect words are hard to find
they slip away
a divine idea
lighter than light
buried treasure
our birthright
resonance and feedback
the voice of home
an empty heart
is full of fear
an open heart
catches the sun's rays
tensions evaporate
when two become one
three emerge

some spirit descended on me as I slept
though with benign or malicious intent
I do not know
in dream I issued invitation
seeking a current to ride
with bold tongue
and just when I thought
none would respond
some spirit descended on me
to consequence yet unknown
and I awoke with a start

I yesterday saw your hair
In glow white yellow silver gold
Could not lift from floor glued eyes
Managed to avoid frozen moment

You saw me crumble sighed
Understood without remembering
I had to try so hard
To survive the sight

Offer to give and receive
Too much made so silently
I must see your doubt
To make my decisions

They knew so much about us
While I was trying to forget
I brought you new gifts
But you were still

You led me through naked lies
I clung to your side
The path was your shadow
It burned my feet

You turned I turned away
Your touch invited perfection
Your movements were undefined
You made me feel blind

(in between worlds)

ha ha ha
we met the bogeyman
he hesitated

i am in a trance
i wait for signs
i notice connections

you trace the lines of my face
kind mirror
rainy day

glowworms
insatiable
trembling

looking for an argument
i call your bluff
you seem bored

you realize this is different
there is no reason why
it just feels right

i find where the spear went in
i remind you of the secret
a world surrenders around your eyes

still trying too hard
bind me with rings
leave me to my reflections
i like it here

i heard the lessons of your voice
you are not what you are
i remind myself of this as i stare at your picture
i remind myself of this as i fantasize
i wander the city aimlessly
wanting not to want to run into you
wanting not to want to go by your door
there you are! i must hide!
as you pass by i feel relief
i despise my relief, i despise my shame
i would have you and throw you away
i would forget you
i would be your slave
i do not need you
but you are me and i am still afraid
afraid of the power of your face

an honest incline
crucifiction as
empty spectacle

i have done wrong
i still believe
faith over works
swords like needles
pierced by the moment
surrounded by the voice
it accuses my silence
it accuses my apologies
it accuses my fear
it accuses my certainty
it accuses my stammering
it accuses me

i know i can turn to old patterns
take refuge in the eternal logos
summoning a vast scream
the temple hums to the cosmos

it takes place at the skin
"you are your limits
you were made to be filled"
