Default Futon

Futon
I have one
my cat
is lying on it
at this very moment

I sit on it
usually only
when I am watching TV
which is generally
only in the evenings
sometimes
I even fall asleep on it

When friends
come to visit
we fold it down
so they can sleep on it

Oh
by the way
I have to do a little bit
of grocery shopping
later on
today
does anybody
need anything at the store?

I think the nearest Cumberland Farms is about 3,000 miles from here but if I get a chance I'll swing by there. Do you want to sample some of their sweet new Cumby's brand products?

This is the most beautiful poetry I have ever read, ever. You make Robert Frost's work look like a kindergarden picture on the refrigerator.

Oh Big3

Oh Big3
I forgot to mention
I picked
up
the groceries
you wanted
yesterday
Cumberland Farms
was closed
so I stopped at Tedeschi's instead
I hope
that's okay with you

I left
them on the counter
and forgot
to tell you they were there
so if
you didn't
put them away yesterday
you should probably
throw
the eggs and milk
out
