Default Community song-writing venture

Basically, I will write the chorus and I will leave it up to you to finish the song. After that, hopefully we can get someone here to perform it and record it for us to listen to.

Here is the chorus (the song will start with the chorus):

You really should be gracious,
After all I've did for you,
You should be gracious,
I worked til' my hands were blue!
But you, you don't think about others...and that's why we weren't meant for each other!
Find yourself another lover!

Aaaaight, here's my contribution :

I was tracking 'cross a canyon when I met an Iriquois
Who looked like a cross between Paul Bunyan and Elton's boy toy
He was dangling from a rope and his face was white as a sheet
His girl had left him as she couldn't stand the funk of his feet

I saved his life in a casual way and he asked me if I'd like to stay
With him for dinner on this lovely day and afterwards he'd like a lay
with me and his pony in the hay and so I said nay
and so did his horse who had started to pray

Thanks for the first contribution, hopefully they keep coming. I'm aiming to make a song around 7-10 minutes.

Does this work?

I was drinking from the ocean when I was swallowed by a whale
The flesh inside its belly was pink, blue, and pale.
I saw the ghost of my friend Jonah hovering on the wet tongue
I asked him about the truth, about just what God had done

He told me I was crazy and he shaved off my beard
I stood there my face naked all alone, still poorly steered
In the back of my head, I felt my sympathies grow stale
And the Lord and all his angels sayin’ Whale Whale Whale
