Wow thank you! I appreciate the kind words

We have a full on studio version of this too, with a full band but I really like the way the acoustic versions sounds. The drum tapping stuff I do really hits(especially with headphones!) My buddy Ken recorded it perfectly.

I like the percussive quality to your acoustic playing on that one, pyschedub dude, sounds nice.

I was writing lyrics to that one, but I just gave up , knowing that I wouldn't be able to sing it. My music really needs vocals and lyrics, I don't have the technique of someone like plankton that is needed to make a really good instrumental.

That's the first recording I've made with my new midi keyboard. I really have no experience on keys other than learning how to play "imagine" about a year ago. I thought it turned out alright considering that I just improvised the little piano part.

When I look back on it I'm embarrassed that I even posted this with that terrible lead guitar. Even I am capable of much better and have done better in the past. But like I said, I was just ready to finish it.

Oh, you just had to get that pun at my singing in there ehh? I hear ya, I appreciate honesty no matter what though. At any rate, I thought you did a pretty good job all around on the song. I know it can get frustrating but for experimenting with a keyboard the first time you didn't do bad at all. Your melodys and beats are pretty damn good dude...keep up the good work!

Pun? I'm confused. I was being serious. I wish I could sing as good as you.

Thanks for the feedback. There's not much to that keyboard playing but I like it, it's kind of dark sounding.

I like to learn new chords and put them to use in an effort to extend my chord vocabulary. I'm really digging the Aadd9 chord that I use in this song.

Okay, I did these a week ago. They're not my best work which is why I was a bit reluctant to share them on the forum - definitely not up to concert performance or exam standards. I'm trying to practice more hollow breathing (so when I master this, you won't hear as much of the ugly breath sounds, lol) as well as softer tonguing. Also working on achieving a less airy tone.

I know this music is quite different from what gets posted in here - it's classical and not original work (as much as I wish I composed these pieces...) and it's on a flute and not a guitar. But here goes.

J.S. Bach - Air in D Major

J.S. Bach - Sleepers, Wake

Charles Gounod - Ave Maria

Even though it's not guitar (God forbid... lol), or original for that matter, I still appreciate the artistry in your work BD. Mastering a classical piece that has been around for centuries, and on a separate instrument from what is was written for, is a remarkable artistic trait in any musician and you should be proud of what you've accomplished thus far. I enjoyed those.

You should be proud. You're great at your instrument. Nothing wrong with covers. I know some people who think its pointless to learn the music of others, I disagree. It's really fun, I continue to do it and probably always will.

Thanks man! My guitar has some pretty sweet tones when I drum on it haha

Here's a tune my brother just posted up on FB. He's a bit more into the techno side of music.

...and BTW, I have a website now I'm using for my stuff. It's pretty generic right now (beta? yeah right) and only has my latest from the last 6 months. I'll be posting up EVERYTHING on it soon. I have over 100 songs, it'll take some bandwidth to get em all up:
