My Psychology teacher from 10 years ago used to say "When I am an old woman, I shall wear purple." which came from this poem, weirdly enough its always stuck with me.

I started quoting some of it last year on a new college course to a person which...they just pinched my shirt and said "I see you took it to heart." I was wearing a purple shirt at the time....

Take away the pain in my heart,
Make my life a little less hard.

Laying under my blanket at night,
Thinking about if this is the right.

Take a cigarette and light it on,
I promise you, I'll only take one.

If you want, I can rename this thread to "Snowless's Collection" and merge it with your other poem threads.
Having one thread is actually better than several of them.

Black Rose

I'm not an ordinary girl,
In my head I like to swirl.

What if I pick up a black rose,
I'm afraid you'll break my nose.

There's nothing but dry eyes,
But I still think it's all lies.
