I have seen "George Clinton and the P-Funk All-Stars" twice.

I like them playing both the soul and rock stuff at the same time on top of the funk beats.

Tear the Roof off/ We Want the Funk, Atomic Dog, and Free Your Mind/Ass Follow are my favorite.

I will say, though, I liked the first show way more. I met my girlfriend there. I don't know what the difference was, but no one wanted the first show to end.

The second show, though, seemed more monotonous and guitar masterbat-ey. We left a little early.

1st indoor, 2nd outdoor? Cause of girlfriend? I don't know. I would watch them again, but I have also passed up chances to see them again. To me, as a drummer, its all about the ground-breaking rhythm section work with this band. I like rock guitar, but I also like horns and other colors in the palette. Also I wouldn't mind a bluesier/jazzier guitar sound over the funk rhythm section.
