I'm not really sure if you want me to include compilations on this list, so I will due to the fact that lots of these artists were primarily singles artists.

All-Time Greatest Hits-Barry White
Anthology-The Dells
Atlantic Rhythm & Blues 1947-1974 [Box]-Various Artists
Beg Scream & Shout: The Big Ol' Box of '60s Soul-Various Artists

Funk:
25 All Time Greatest Hits-Joe Tex
Ahh... The Name is Bootsy, Baby!-Bootsy's Rubber Band
All Star Funk-Various Artists
Dirty Mind-Prince
Doing It to Death 1970-1973-James Brown

Default Where to start? [FUNK]

So, I've always considered myself a fan of funk. Then I thought "Hey mister Shoe, name your favorite funk group." And I replied "****, I don't listen to funk at all do I?"

This is where you guys come in. Make me a funk fan
