I liked the saturday night fever soundtrack a lot, mock me all you want, i dont care (well i do deep down inside). :(

MURDER JUNKIE 01-23-2006 03:02 AM

LukeM_UK 01-23-2006 04:08 AM

My favourite soundtrack is from 'Terminator 2 - Judgment day'

MURDER JUNKIE 01-23-2006 04:10 AM

I heard " you could be mine " the other day. I forgot how cool that song is

TrampInaTux 01-23-2006 09:03 AM

I don't care a whole lot for soundtracks, So I'll just throw Donnie Darko in there, because the last song is emotional and really fits in with the film.

The soundtrack of my life goes like this...

1)Spice Girls-If you wanna be (I loved that when I was a little kid.)
2) Uncle Kracker (See above.)
3)Outkast-Ms Jackson (The first time I got into Outkast, since then I own all their albums and know pretty much every released song of theirs off by heart.)
4)Nizlopi-JCB (personal reasons)
5)Nirvana-Polly (The first time I realised I wanted to write songs)
6)Scissor Sisters-Take your mama (really like this for some reason)
7)Van Morrison-Brown eyed girl (Just remember being in the car singing this with my Dad.)
8)Eminem-Without me (All the kids at school were raving about how Bin Laden was in the video, so when I saw this I was really hyped up.)
9)Coolio-Gangsters Paradise (My first venture into rap)
10)Limp Bizkit-Rollin' (Performed this at a karaoke with my dorky friend really showing himself up.)

THESE AREN'T MY FAVOURITE SONGS OF ALL TIME. These are just memorable songs through all the different stages of my life. I don't really like any of them now, but they were just songs that stood out in milestones of my life.

You know, when this came out, I professed to hate it, being a classic rock fan. (well, at the time, it was current rock,LOL) But, I secretly thought it was a brilliant album. Well crafted, musically sound. Plus, you could dance to it. (Not that I would have been caught dead dancing, with my Aerosmith concert tee and all. LOL)

As far as good soundtracks, Jesus Christ Superstar in very good. Interesting musically, and very diverse in content. A good listen.

As far as the soundtrack to my life, heck, I wouldn't know where to begin. I know there'd be a lot of KISS, Ted Nugent, Aerosmith (pre-MTV), and the like. It's what I cut my musical teeth on.

adidasss 01-23-2006 07:23 PM

Dave Matthews Band - Crush
The Cardigans - Lovefool
Ray Parker Jr - Ghostbusters (great on a night out)
Coldplay - Trouble (first tune I learnt on the Piano)
Chesney Hawks - The One & Only (first record I bought, I would have been about 7)
Bruce Springsteen - Streets Of Philadelphia (reminds me of someone special)

Manic Street Preachers - Everlasting (when I fast started working in motor racing, aged 15, this was the only CD we had in the workshop)

Most of these trigger memories of some kind, or have meaning in another way. All of them I still listen too now, except Chesney Hawks.
