I making a new batch of mixes for my truck because my old batch is a bunch of mixes I made in 09 and they really stink. The running theme this time is to try and keep songs in at least back-to-back pairs. So far, so good. The first offering, simply titled "LOUD", is a mix of metal and post hardcore intended for use at a very high volume.

For the daytime you got your Ambient, a lil' bit o' Folk and some Modern Classical, and for the night you got your upbeat Electronic music (starting with 81Summer, a sort of dusk song), transitioning to a darker sound as it goes on. Home is for gloaming, Baffle is for right when it actually becomes dark and all the lights are nice and bright. |

The warmth of the echo, and the organic quality of the instruments (pretty much half if not more than half of the playlist) go hand in hand, and it's one those things that can really make something lovely. I got all the eerie and creepy stuff I already had, and also scoured the web for more of it. Song 4 isn't actually a song. It was an excerpt I took from a recording done preceding, and during the Jonestown mass suicide. The first few minutes are during Jim Jones oration, and then I stiched it with the last few minutes of warped music that was recorded after all of the talking stopped.
