This is a mix I commonly listen to when I have trouble sleeping....
#1. 10,000 Maniacs - Becase The Night This song is a cover of an old Springsteen song. Her voice is amazing, and it's just a soothing song to listen to. #2. The Cranberries - Linger Classic. One of my favorite songs by this band. #3. John Mayer - Gravity One of Mayer's more blues oriented songs. Relaxing. #4. Dido - Thank You The woman's voice is amazing, and she writes some brilliant lyrics. #5. Natalie Merchant - Jealousy Old lead singer for the band 10,000 Maniacs. Her voice is relaxing, and this is probably the best song I've heard from her solo work. #6. Dido - White Flag Yes, a double dose. Her voice is droolworthy. #7. Bush - Letting The Cables Sleep Very slow and relaxing song from Bush. Rossdale is amazing. #8. Pearl Jam - Come Back One of my favorite songs from their latest album. Slow paced, kind of reminds me of Van Morrison a little bit. #9. Fleetwood Mac - Dreams I love Stevie Nicks. #10. Mark Knopfler - 5:15 A.M. Slow song, and probably my favorite from Knopfler. Forgive me for not posting a link......my dial up is so slow, it would take me a few days just to get it uploaded. If someone wants them though, I guess you could just use Limewire. Or...I could upload a copy of Limewire pro? Enjoy. |
Ace. That is a sweet list. I've actually heard & love every song on there. I'm a closet Dido & Merchant fan myself. I love soothing voices. Ever give Etta James a listen?

Haha, thanks.
