Never heard of The Lillingtons, but if they're up there with Descendants and Lagwagon, I think I'll like.

Well, they don't really sound like either band, more like the Screeching Weasel bubblegum stuff. Don't matter though, you'll probably like it.

After I get the whole thing uploaded I'm going to condense it into a more essential guide, with reasons for each choice. I just want people to know that not all Pop-Rock is ****

That list doesn't help your case IMO. Blink 182 really might be my least favorite band of all time.

I'm no expert on Einstürzende Neubauten myself...discovered them not long back, and really have listened to only a couple of albums :p:
The 'Industrial' thread in the rock/metal section has quite a few interesting names thrown in, but without any links. Might need to do the hardwork yourself to find out what you like :(

From the compilation, i don't expect anyone to like all the tracks, but let me know once you do get around to listening to it.

(on a sidenote - going through 10 pages of compilations is taking me forever :()

Whatever. I'm used to people hating my taste in music, Alfred doesn't even like Blink. I think they're pretty good, not because they're funny or anything, just solid pop-rock.

Kollaps - Einsturzen Neubauten is a great place to start for them complete with a song full of electric drills :D

Blink are fun, but they're not a band that I take seriously.

I do have a soft spot for 'Miss You'. A half decent track.
