Then for Avant-Garde I suggest Karlheinz Stockhausen - Mikrophonie He's known as one of the first that experimented with electronic music. I guess John Cage could also represent overall avant-garde music, but since I already submitted him for experimental, I'll go with Stockhausen.

Honky Tonk Hank Williams - Lovesick Blues nobody could Honky Tonk like Hank....except for maybe his grandson Country Rock Supersuckers - The Supersucker Drive By Blues self claiming "greatest Rock band in the world"....always with a country twang Alternative hip hop (would this be the same as underground?) Molemen ft. Slug,Aesop Rock, and MF DOOM - Put Your Quarter Up it features three of the bigger "alternative" mc's Political Hip Hop Sage Francis - Makeshift Patriot i think pretty much anybody whose into political hip hop at least knows this song well Dance pop Dee Lite - Groove Is In The Heart makes me want to dance.... Electropop Kraftwerk - Music Non Stop its Kraftwerk.... Industrial Metal Ministry - So What this is one of those songs that got me into music Punk Rock X - Your Phone Is Off The Hook, But You're Not i just think the entire album "Los Angeles" is a perfect example off the "punk" sound....and this is the opening track |
