hells yeah!....great choice too

i think Nurse With Wound wins for Avant-garde but with the hour long creepy epic 'Salt Marie Celeste'

and Merzbow - Woodpecker 1 should take the noise sub-genre

also

Thrash metal
D.R.I. - I Don't Need Society

Dumb genre but Indie-Rap perhaps? When I think Rap Rock I think maybe Body Count - There Goes the Neighborhood.
Either way Why? are awesome.

or Rap Metal?

I really don't consider Indie-Rap to be a legit genre. At least not until it's reconized by, say, Allmusic. Body Count is a good contender for Rap Rock (Rap Metal has been taken). Why? doesn't really represent rap rock very well. They're a folk inspired hip hop tinged indie rock band. They're a great group but since it seems they skewer so many genres they may simply not be right for this comp. I'll leave it up to you guys to decide though. If you want Indie Rap to be added I can still add it, I'm just trying to avoid this thing getting any bigger.

Just get somebody to second you on that and the Avant-Garde genre will be defined.

I want indie-rap added. Mostly cause I just want WHY? in there and it's the genre that defines them best (imo), but still. It's legit.

Edit: And I'll suggest Chuck Berry- Back in the USA for Rock N Roll

and Talking Heads- Born Under Punches (The Heat Goes On) for New Wave

These are pretty big genres though. So someone could totally disagree with me.

I guess I'll solidify my suggestion of Body Count - There Goes the Neighborhood for Rap Rock unless anyone has a better suggestion.

Added it. And added your suggestions too, story. This is going much faster than expected. Rock is almost completely filled out!
