Have you heard of Radio Garden?

Radio Garden is an interactive website and app that lets you tune in to thousands of live radio stations from across the globe.

With an interface reminiscent of Google Earth, you spin a 3D globe and listen to live local broadcasts by selecting small green dots.

The project offers several features and unique aspects:

Interactive Map:

Each green dot represents a city or town. Simply zoom in and tap on a dot to hear what is playing on stations in that location in real time.

Musical Exploration:

It is an excellent tool for discovering music, languages, local news, and cultures from remote parts of the world, free from geographical barriers.

Search and Favorites: In addition to spinning the globe, you can search for specific cities, countries, or station names, as well as save your favorite stations.

The project was originally launched in the Netherlands in 2016 as a research initiative aimed at bridging global borders and uniting people through sound.
