But, hey, when circumstances are on my side, I try to seize the occasion. Especially considering that Matrix's skies use to be gorgeous. This sunrise is from February:

I think there are several favorable converging factors here: the blood-red sky, those plane contrails, sun's position and the central building. The "shy" Sun seems to be hiding itself. And to me, it looks as if it were about to move left, instead of rising up. A curious effect.

You know, it's easy making a picture like that when you have that view in front of you anyways.
But damn, I still just LOVE it

My dad bought a Sigma DP2.
I've been using it all time since yesterday as it's absolutely brilliant.
It's an awful device to live and work with, but the pictures are... Beyond DSLR quality:

I wouldn't call myself a fan, but a good lo-fi photograph can be very interesting to look at.
I just don't see the point of those expensive low-budget (?!) camera's.
I'd just buy a 35 year old budget cam on a yardsale or summin'.

I have a polaroid that I've been wanting to film-up and snap some shots for a collage but the film is outrageous.

Sure am. I've got a Fisheye 2. Pretty decent stuff. Do you have any scanned?

Yes, indeed. And the same happens with buildings. Sometimes I try to do my bit, though. This is the Mirador Building (mirador means viewing-point), designed by Dutch architectural firm MVRDV. I took many pictures of it, from different angles. I like this one because of all its geometric features:

Obviously, building is "the star" here, but pavement plays its role too (note, for instance, how colours are the same). There is an interesting composition of lines, I think:

And I love how the clouds collaborated with me too:

Another one canine street-scene:

"Baby, we’re like a lock and key!"

"I don’t like where your key’s been"
