It's nice to see Kobe back.

I don't like the lakers that much but they had some really ****ty luck last year with all those injuries. Even their bench guys went down. Also with Gasol gone, Kobe better be 100% of they are screwed. Boozer is not even half the player that Gasol was.

Wpnfire 10-12-2014 10:13 AM

Well, sounds like KD won't be playing in the season opener, on account that he has a fractured foot.

Also, the preseason Heat vs. Cavs. game in Brazil was truly something epic. The Heat were down 17 points in the fourth quarter, they forced OT, then lost the game 122-119. Shabazz Napier was pretty much unstoppable for the Heat in that game.

Wpnfire 10-31-2014 08:36 PM

TRIPLE POST FTW

Cavs-Bulls heading to OT right now. The bulls have like 10000000 blocks in this game.

Wpnfire 11-05-2014 09:03 AM

You guys all suck. I'm doing this by myself.

So a quick update:
  • the Lakers STILL have not won a game (0-5!).
  • Cleveland just lost to the Trailblazers by 19 last night, including scoring only 13 points in the fourth quarter.
  • Russell Westbrook and Durant are out for at least a month, which means the Thunder are doomed until they return.
  • Chris Bosh is the man in Miami. He's been the leading scorer in all of their games, and the Heat appear to be doing fine without LeBron.
  • 50% chance the Spurs walk away with a title again this year, though that's always true every year. lol

debaserr 11-05-2014 09:34 AM

LeBron thinks his **** don't stink.

In retrospect, it seems like Wade was the real leader on the Heat...

Having lived in Boston from 1960 thru 1997 it always pleases me when the Lakers suck. (I shouldn't talk though with how bad the Celtics are these days.)

Oh how I miss the 80s.....

Bravo!!!!
Lebron whines, flops and is arrogant. He sucks. No way does he deserves to be compared to MJ. Lebron is not a leader, all he cares about is himself hence why he moved his self right back to Cleveland.

Sparky 11-08-2014 07:28 PM

Look up any non-commercial account of Michael Jordan to get a full character profile.

Lebron is going to bring a championship to multiple teams, thats called sharing the love.

But he could have had more success in Miami than back in Cleveland...

Miami needs more players.

I haven't kept up with it this season but last years finals really exposed Miami.

YorkeDaddy 11-11-2014 01:57 PM

Yet another example of Soulflower voicing an opinion on something while also admitting she doesn't know a damn thing she's talking about.

I hope she wins most inane member.

Soulflower 11-11-2014 03:47 PM

Hey Yorke daddy! I thought they banned you, nice to see you back!

Wpnfire 11-12-2014 08:24 PM

Kobe is the now the all-time league leader in most missed shots.

^ This is what NBA news comes to, a missed shots record, when Westbrook and Durant for the Thunder are out, the heat just lost to the ramshackle Pacers, the Spurs are barely positive, and the Cavs are 3-3. The sports media implodes with nothing interesting to talk about.

debaserr 11-13-2014 03:08 PM

They manufacture inane crap to talk about in their sleep. They've got it down to a science over at ESPN. With twitter, it's become a pointless echo chamber elucidating us to the banality of their existence.

Sparky 11-13-2014 05:12 PM

quality post eric

Wpnfire 12-01-2014 01:38 PM

Kobe is going to die of a heart attack before the season is over. Every possession for the lakers, there is a 33% chance Kobe will be the one who takes the shot. His usage rate is unreal.

debaserr 12-02-2014 04:17 PM

His knees / legs / etc will give out faster than his heart.

Chula Vista 12-02-2014 04:39 PM

League leader in attempts per game?

Kobe: 23.1

2nd through 5th place?

2) 18.9
3) 18.4
4) 18.3
5) 18.2

2nd place takes 3.8% shots more per game than 5th place.

Kobe takes 22.2% more shots per game than 2nd place.

debaserr 12-02-2014 08:37 PM

He's pretty much always been a chucker.

I don't mind, it's pretty impressive for him to be doing this at his age / mileage.

bb1992 12-07-2014 08:08 AM

Lakers, are poop this season. :(

bb1992 12-07-2014 08:10 AM

But Kobe is a monster :D, when he gets assists the whole team plays better

Wpnfire 12-13-2014 08:42 PM

LaMarcus Aldridge is rapidly becoming one of my favorite players to watch. He put up 21 points in the first quarter the other day versus Chicago. I think he made 7 jumpshots in a row or something obscene like that.

Wpnfire 12-16-2014 10:10 PM

The Grizzlies burned the Warriors' 16-win streak house down tonight. Still, the Warriors only lost by 7 without David Lee and Andrew Bogut, and it was the team's third game in four nights... I guess they're 21-3 with good reason.

Wpnfire 12-18-2014 12:44 PM

Holy **** the grizzlies beat the spurs in triple overtime last night, by 1 point. **** you, NBA, for not having the game televised, **** you.

Blanche_Minim 01-15-2015 02:19 PM

I'm glad to see Derozan back for the Raptors. LET'S GO RAPTORS! MGD!

(raptors player blocked a shot...)

GET THAT GARBAGE OUT OF HERE!!!

Moss 01-16-2015 02:23 PM

I'm glad the Nuggets are already starting on their 30th straight year of re-building for the future.

debaserr 01-16-2015 03:06 PM

Why isn't Faried putting up bigger numbers? He was crushing it for Team USA. 27mpg / 12pt / 9rb? What thee hell.

I know! So inconsistent! So athletic, works hard, looks brilliant on occasion, then disappears in some games. I dont know. I'm sure the Nuggets will trade him when his contract is up and he will proceed to blossom.

Wpnfire 01-19-2015 04:15 PM

lulz Nuggets 69 - Warriors 107 with 4 minutes left.

Wpnfire 01-22-2015 02:55 PM

Kobe's injured... again.

And the Warriors sweep the season series against the Rockets.

Maybe next year Harden.

Yeah, sounds like a great match up. Just nice not to have Spurs, Lakers, or Miami In there.

debaserr 05-24-2015 10:34 AM

If Kyrie can't play well, the Cavs are going to get trounced. The Warriors are just too good.
