I hate how S.I. is already predicting a repeat for the Hawks, but I do think they're strong enough to overcome any type of jynx effect it may carry.

Nice! I'm taking Becky and her two kids to the Everett Silvertips game Saturday night. Junior hockey is a lot of fun. I'm hoping to get to see some Canucks games this year too.

My attention to hockey has been diverted by the MLB Playoffs, I just took a look at the standings and OMG what kind of fire has Patrick Roy set under the Avs? Wowee, 6-0, can they keep this up? What's going on in the Pepsi Center these days?

*edited to add: I wasn't asking if they're gonna go 82-0, I just meant can they be this dominant through April...

Also, the Bruins pay the Panthers in Ft Lauderdale tonight, that'll be interesting considering who will be in goal for Florida
