mm im not sure on best defense. Pietrangelo is really good, so I parayko, but j-bo is not what he used to be and the rest is ok to meh. I like Vlasic a lot, Burns is a beast, and Braun, Martin and Dillon are all solid if not underrated. And having watched both teams, I just find the Sharks to have such a great system. They suffocate shots against but are lethal on offense. And omg that powerplay. The Blues are probably deeper at forward and have the better goalie tho. It's going to be a hell of a series I cant wait.

Blues/Sharks both have amazing bluelines. It is really tough to pick between them, although I'd give a slight edge to the Blues for better depth.
I feel like Vlasic is like the Bergeron of defencemen. People know he's amazing, but they just don't know HOW amazing he is until they watch him routinely. I love this final 4 even if I don't necessarily love all the teams. Should be some great hockey from here on out. |
^ As long as it's better than the game 7's I was so looking forward to

dummy me somehow forgot about shattenkirk yeah ok its a toss up.
agree about Vlasic tho. Most of the time the term "defensive defenseman" colloquially means "bad defenseman" in my eyes. Vlasic is one of the few exceptions to that rule. |

Man Vasilevskiy is *really* playing well in relief of Bishop, 2-2 with five left in 3rd.

WILD game in Pittsburgh tonight!
