So I like the Sharks but I'm taking the Blues to come out of the west. It's hard to go against Pens in the east, but I've let the Ning ride in every round. Blues/Ning finals. I'll be wrong.

I've lived here my entire life and have never had any ill will towards the gateway to the west. I just think they're a beast of a team right now, I mean come on... they beat the Hawks.

Well good on you Plankie-Poops, but that doesn't mean there isn't an enmity with a plurality of fans in the two cities. I only have direct experience between Portland and Seattle, esp. by the awful Seattle fans. Yes, they're way worse.

I've been to a few games in Portland sporting me Everett Silvertips regalia, and they were always courteous to me. Not saying they didn't root for the Winterhawks.

yeah im still bitter. I think im starting to hate the blues a bit now actually - they are kind of vanilla in terms of team make-up (ie I don't have strong feelings towards or against many of their best players). they are just kind of there
