Oh absolutely, they were certainly up there even without him.

I like him in Denver too, with Eric Decker, see Tebow get screens or some runs.

I bet they would trade Tebow if they land Manning. He has so much buzz someone like the Jaguars would probably overpay for him (I could see him improving a lot though).

Tebow still stinks. He has a good arm and accuracy, his mechanics and QB decision making are dreadful though. McD was the only reason his release isn't as bad as it used to be. That big release would have been pick heaven for opposing secondary when you take into account he throws wobbly ass passes.

I don't bet on him improving but he's young, so I hold out hope for him.

God, I hope Manning goes to the 49ers. Moss and Crabtree are my favourite receivers of all time (I'm weird like that), and they'd seriously be an absolute powerhouse with a healthy Manning. Manning hasn't had a RB as good as Gore since James, and he's never had a defense that good before.

I also really like the Williams pickup for the Bills. One of the best DE in the league when he's helathy. Where's captaincaptain at?

49er fan here.

I'm torn between some things...

1. I would LOVE to have manning on the team.

2. I would love to sign Alex to a three year deal. Coach made him a good quarterback.

3. Manning would kind of break the bank a little. Still need another WR, guard, and corner. That and the signing of draft picks.

4. Would he mesh well with Harbaugh? I honestly don't think so, but they'll put that aside cause they'll be undefeated.

To me, it's a win - win on whether he signs or not.

They won't be a lock to go undefeated by any means. Moss is old and hasn't done crap for a couple of years while Crabtree is just a decent jump-ball receiver.

Manning will also be a year removed from the game due to surgery.

Manning can mesh with anyone. You make it sound like he's some kind of diva. If anyone doesn't mesh, my money's on Moss.

I'm interested to see how fast Moss will be this season.

I see him being handy for corner routes, especially in the endzone, i just don't know if he's the route runner you would want in this modern offense.

Manning will be on the Titans next year, I'm almost sure of it. He will do well, probably AFC championship game well.
