Britt is an excellent receiver, but I think he's coming off an ACL tear. I can't think of any other WR / TE they have off the top of my head.

Manning to the Broncos. I can't say I'm disappointed.

Finally going to stop this silly ESPN-Tebow love affair. I defended Tebow as a QB who could progress against the people who hate him just because of the hype, but the overhyping is annoying.

This should be fun

I think Alex and his vanilla offense deserve another year on the 49ers

Not a huge fan of Manning going to the Broncs, as a Chargers fan. At least with Tebow, my Chargers had a shot at the playoffs. With Manning, even if he's not at 100%, he's got a very talented Broncos team to back him up. I'd say Manning at 50% is a better asset to that team than Tebow at 100% was. Dammit.

I just want Rivers to have a shot at a ring. That's apparently too much to ask.

Peyton probably also remembers the early playoff exits thanks to P. Rivers. I know I do.

The Chargers won a lot of those games because you could shut down the Colts run attack and throw whatever they wanted at Peyton. The years following he overcame that to an extent.

Conversely, the Broncos are a good matchup v the Chargers in my estimation. They have a good O line and a few decent backs. It seems like the Chargers have been slowly deteriorating for years.

They did play a lot better towards the end of last season, when their receivers and Gates were in good health - because Rivers actually had someone to throw to. Last season was not his strongest, something I attribute at least partially to his lack of targets. Then again, he's always been a December QB.

I'd really like the Chargers to get some new blood in there, though. But keep Rivers and Floyd for sure.

I said deteriorating just based off of results:

Last two years 8 / 9 wins.

6 before that: 13 / 8 / 11 / 14 / 9 / 12
