Manning and Brady Pass completion is almost identical percentage. (Brady passer rating is higher however)

And Brady in 11 seasons has been in 5 superbowls. Manning...2, in more seasons. Bradys team is completely different now and they still dominate

This is very misleading, which I'm sure is intentional.

Manning has the edge in virtually every stat. Yards per game, yards per attempt, completion pct, and then you say that Brady has the edge in passer rating? The difference at this very moment is .2, but that isn't "identical"?

Getting the the Super Bowl is a team accomplishment, and Peyton Manning has actually been just as good if not slightly better than Brady in the postseason. (See the edit on my last post)

lol at thinking Brady isnt the reason they are so good.
Never said that he hasn't been the biggest component to NE's success. He has, but he gets a lot of credit for being in their innovative systems that make it easy for him. Ofc, he makes it look easy and I'm not taking that away from him.

But all the stats aside from playoff wins/touchdowns/superbowls really dont matter ALL that much. When it comes to setting records in the postseason brady holds nearly every single one. How can you say Manning is better in the offseason when his win/loss record is so much less.

And I think a big reason Brady is a better overall team player is because he has Belichek coaching him, people underestimate how amazing that guy is.

Good receivers need good quarterbacks, that's just the way it works.

Are you going to compare Brandon Stokley to Welker now? Welker's an elite receiver, Stokley was briefly good with the Colts before fading into obscurity.

Welker is legitimately talented, and that's why NE coveted him so much, when they signed him they knew what they had. Same goes for Danny Amendola, who's probably going to blossom into the next Wes Welker after having spent the last few years being compared to him.

Again, while W/L records are charged to quarterbacks, they are team accomplishments. If Mark Sanchez went 19-0 5 years in a row while still maintaining his same mediocre stats, would he suddenly be in the running for best quarterback of all time? Using W/L records as a point is useless, because while wins mean everything to your team, they actually mean nothing as an individual stat.

You see it in baseball all the time, someone wins 25 games and wins the Cy Young over a guy with an ERA a full run lower, but he only has 15 or 16 wins. It's ridiculous.

the point is you are willing to consider welker elite and stokley a bum despite neither of them doin anything without peyton or brady

welker is the better player but thats a lofty statement to say the pats knew what they were gettin with him. he caught more balls his first year with the pats then the previous 3 years since he came into the league. do you think welker would have done that in miami? or anywhere else?

amendola could be welker-lite for them but his body is made of glass

Of course he wouldn't have done it in Miami. Receivers only put up stats reflecting their true potential if they have a good quarterback throwing to them, and that definitely wouldn't have happened out in Miami. He would have been good on any team with a decent quarterback, though.

To be totally honest, I don't even think Miami knew what they had in Welker, or maybe they would have kept him and used him as a starting point for building up their passing game.

Welker is 5 9 185LB. Mind = Blown

It was written by a 74 year old man who apparently thinks football = golf or tennis. Some of the local sports radio journalists talked to him, it's real.

But it's not representative at all of SF fans, who also think it's ridiculous.
