So answer my question, "what NFL locker rooms have you been in?".

But I thought there was a reality, so now there's a reality within a reality. **** man, there could be infinite realities within every reality! Shocker, I always figured that there was one reality, and everyone was supposed to abide by it.

this is always a funny argument strategy when i see it.... backed into a corner, start tryin to take the discussion away from the subject as far as possible. lol. i wont bite on your 'reality' bait tho, so bait denied for you :nono:

so i guess you were playin devils advocate then? haha well thats interestin... so i guess all along we've agreed martin is soft. glad we can clear that up

as for the locker room thing, we've been down this road already. we been thru this. cmon, just read and you can see for urself. i will also deny that bait as well

Right, but I doubt "soft" is the appropriate word. Soft implies weakness, and I'm pretty sure "softy" Martin could kick most "tough" guys asses in a fight. He's a trench player who's 6'5 and weighs over 300 lbs, and pushes other giant males around for a living, so "soft" is a pretty ****ty descriptor to begin with. At worst, "emotionally soft" would be a decent description, but like I said, that just makes me right.

Also, harassment is a very serious thing. It doesn't matter how emotionally tough you are, if someone persistently calls you names, fines you for being a pussy, among other things, I could see anyone eventually losing their head.

Lolz dude, just lolz. You think you actually have grounds to talk about what goes on in an NFL locker room without having even been one? It isn't bait, it's a reality check. Lololol

Well, I like to know facts, or perhaps even know a person, before I call them soft.

I've been saying that Incognito was harassing him since the beginning, and that Martin had a nervous breakdown, this was admitted by the Martin camp since day one, and I never argued any differently. In fact, it was part of my argument back then that Incognito was indeed harassing him. Unwanted interactions, regardless of how the subject who's being bullied, equates to harassment. Typically, bullies have one right-hand guy who they've intimidated into being their friend. The report, an objective source, agrees with all of this.

...basically everyone I know. My dad, my uncles, my cousins, my friends, and vise versa. Men make fun of each other. Get a grip, kid.

I love reading FtD's arguments because they are a prime example of how to be a complete moron and are so out of touch with how the real world actually is. You have no idea how people conduct themselves in football locker rooms, this much is very clear.

In other news, everyone has been talking about their NBA "Mount Rushmore". First Take yesterday went over their NFL "Mount Rushmore," and I had to go with Montana, Rice, Lawrence Taylor, and Jim Brown. Can anyone really disagree with those? I could maybe see like Unitas or Bradshaw over Montana but probably not.

Ftd..... I am a guy who has played sports and been apart of many team n locker rooms..... u arent

Is there difference between nfl and college or highschool... duh

But I at least have some firsthand experience with that lil subculture. U don't

butthead aka 216 02-19-2014 11:52 AM

Also I'm not sayin invognito isn't a sociopath or jerk orvwhatever. The main thing I'm sayin is that the general public has no insight or idea about how guys like that talk to each other or thst subculture.... so if u can understand that culture to some degree u can see its a bit overblown. Still overboard but overblown.

Again its about context. I also never buy when anyone compares lockerrooms to normal workplaces or sports to regular jobs. Sports are different in almost every way. Kinda leads into the "athletes are overpaid!!!" Morons who don't get it

Probably explains why you take things so personally. LOL

I love reading your arguments, because they're often flimsy and easy to pick apart.

There is no subculture argument. We all live in the same society with the same rules, perceived subculture or not. Guys don't have different rules from everyone else because they're macho and some of them live to see who can piss the farthest. For someone who spent so much time preaching reality, you certainly don't seem to have a very good grip on it.
