I wish the Chiefs would catch a break one of these years.

But the Saints are still alive and they're poised to beat the Vikings this week. Sorry, Maajo but your Purple People Eaters are going down :D |

As much as I want to enjoy the Seahawks, I'm not surprised they didn't make the playoffs. They did not play well, in terms of what is needed for a playoffs entry. Atlanta has been playing extremely well this season, and I'm looking forward to watching them throughout. They've sort of become my 2nd team that I look forward to watching.
|
Can't count out the Eagles with a defense like that. I thought that Atlanta was gonna handle them, but when you can hold teams to 10 points you will always have a chance to win.
|
Pats turning this into a rout.
Romo was saying before the game that Tennessee had a chance of winning because both their offensive and defensive were bigger and stronger that New England's. 2:20 left in the 3rd - Sacks? Tennessee - 0 New England - 5 |
Still ****ing remember watching this almost 10 years ago. We kicked their asses up and down the field and got ****ed by the refs, foul play and ultimately ourselves maybe more than anything else. This was the most tightly contested game I've ever watched in my life, and I hope we can give them some payback tomorrow. It's our year. Bring It Home. |
Yeah and the NFL was so pissed that golden boy Favre wasn't going to the Super Bowl that they changed the overtime rules and punished the Saints for Bountygate as if no one else ever did that stuff.
Anyway, I can like the Vikings (sorry, but I thought Favre was a primadonna) again, and if they weren't playing the Saints I might even have been rooting for them. But I am a Saints fan and the Vikings are going down. :D |

Tennessee - 0 New England - 8 Damn, Jags already have 28 points and it's not even halftime. |
Steelers are fighting back and slowly turning the tide. If they beat J-Ville, I think they're a better match for New England just because I think Roethlisberger and co are more prepared to play in a big game against the Pats. Still think NE is going to be in the SB, but Pittsburgh will give them a good fight.
|
I'm actually picking Pittsburgh only because I can't stand Belichick and Brady. Plus Pittsburgh's really has had one hell of a year.
|
J-Ville regains control w/ a 4th quarter TD. I picked them to beat Pittsburgh and be humbled in NE, but there's still 9 minutes left and that is definitely enough for Big Ben to score twice.

He probably doesn't like them for the same reason why most baseball fans don't like the Yankees.
|
It's not that. I used to like the Patriots, but both Belichick and Brady are so arrogant. And, yeah, they do cheat, maybe a little more than most.
|
Quote:
Give me some examples of Brady and/or Belichick being arrogant. And did you check out that site? There's 15 teams that have had more instances of cheating than the Patriots. Denver - 53 New York Jets - 50 Indianapolis - 48 Pittsburgh - 44 ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... New England - 26 In other news: Jacksonville 45 Pittsburgh 35. 2017 Season stats for points allowed per game: Jacksonville - 16.8 Pittsburgh - 19.3 :yikes::yikes::yikes: |
You must be a Patriots fan :D
Actually the Final Score is Jacksonville 45, Pittsburgh 42, but the end result is the same. |
So I'm gonna totally nerd out here, but basically, despite the win totals, Jacksonville was easily the superior team to Pittsburgh. They won their games by over 10 ppg while Pittsburgh had only won by around 6 ppg. It was almost certain that with them having won 13 games during the course of the regular season that the Steelers would lose in the postseason, especially to a team like Jacksonville. What's troubling for me is that the Saints have a higher ppg differential than my Vikes do, but they are comparable and it's worth noting that the Vikings have defeated several teams with better ppg differential.

Barooooooo!!!
|
It's a long way to go.
*though I have to admit, Brees isn't connecting too well. |
0/3 on 3rd downs.
|
Saints keep making big plays on 2nd down. We're lucky they ****ed up there, and as I speak Barr intercepts the pass near the goal.
|
On the verge of scoring, the way the first half ended was a bit omenous and now they're starting to gain their footing even against our defense. This one's getting interesting.
|
The end to the Vikings / Saints game was crazy LOL
|
Epic.
|
Whatever happened to the f*ck the Vikings thread lol
|
Damn, I got a call I had to take and missed the last 3 minutes of the Vikings damn.
****! |
Wow, I thought the Vikings were going to blow the Saints out. Brees must have waken up.
Anyway, congrats, Maajo, and good luck against the Eagles. If you win that one you might even finally win the Super Bowl. |
Go Vikings

I think the winner of the AFC will defeat the NFC team.
|
Maybe if the Eagles win it..
|

|
I hope the Eagles can finally win the Super Bowl but I have a strange feeling the Evil Empire is going to win again (cue: protests from Chula).
Congrats on a successful season for the Vikings though. May they lose to the Saints in next year's NFC Championship :D. |
bears lost by one yesterday :banghead: messed up because they were looking good and then mr.rogers comes back and wins the damn game lol the bears were up 20 to zero in the 3rd quarter and lost 24 to 23 lol the quaterback was playing good, even running a few plays.
go bears! :o: |
